I went looking for a silver token insert, found a silver ring and Kennedy 1/2 instead!

I went back to the park where I detected a gaming token with the middle silver insert missing. I felt confident I would get it but after a thorough search, no luck. Instead, I changed settings and I went for a hunt for the deep silver which I know is there mixed up with all the other tons of bottle caps, beaver tails, foil and a myriad of junk. I got a solid unwavering 39 on my Safari which means silver! and dug 5 inches for the silver 925 ring, soon after, the '74 Kennedy 1/2!! came under the coil!!!
Whether I detect the beach or detect the many parks around here, I always come away with lots of clad which I don't bother to show SO.....It still was a good 21/2 hr hunt!! Come to think of it, ANY time spent in detecting is a GREAT time!!!!!

I KNEW you'd go back after that token insert! Nice chunky ring there, and a half is a rare find...much rarer than those Sac, SusanB, or Pres dollar coins seems like....Good Work!

You said the magic words, anytime detecting is what i live for. It is quite an addiction but a fun one at that. Way to go on that silver, i'm convinced its down there its hiding until we can dig it out.
