I wish every find was like this

This one is in great condition! I need to get it graded. Boy was I happy when I flipped it over and saw NO mint mark! I always hunt with my Explorer, but just bought a used XLT for my brother to use. I took the XLT out to try a custom program I used on one of these years ago. I guess the program works!

Looks to be AU ($475.00) but it will most likely be graded EF with a value of $375.00 since it was found in the dirt. One of the nicest Barber Quarters I have seen pulled from the ground Jeff & Maria! Congrats on that AWESOME find!

Don't use glasses. Actually, it is a Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Not a half Dollar! Great find none the less. Good Luck and HH on your next outing.

Like any barber coin ones in this great shape are rare to see found. Many that we seen found are wore quite a bit and some are nice too, but for one like this one you found is very rare.

Congrats and good luck

That is a great barber half. The only barber half I have found was an 1897 and was almost unrecognizeable it was so corroded. A find like yours just about pays for your metal detector, doesn't it?

That's not fair! Now, you've got me wanting one! I've found several Walking Liberty Half Dollars, but not one like yours, which appears to be a Barber Half. Great find!

Super Find!!!
