another proud dad moment. I was at my son Kody's baseball game last nite when he hit his first in the park home run! Now that fence is 300 feet, and that is where the ball ended up! That is a whole football field! Now this isn't the over the fence type where you can jog around the bases, this is the type where you have to work for all you can get!
And he did! Ol dad was tickled as could be and proud too! His team won by mercy in the sixth with a score of 12 to 2. I was up behind of the umpire working the score box, and I told the ump that it was his first and he was going to want that ball. The ump called for the ball from the pitcher and gave it to the coach who later gave it to Kody.

And WTG dad for getting the ball for him. I only hit two homers in little league baseball. I still have the ball from the second homerun given to me by the opposing pitcher after the game, back in 1970!!!

Keep it up Kody, the Braves need another slugger!!!

including me when I played baseball as a young guy. In-field homers are great when you worked for it and it isn't because the other team made so many errors to make it easy. COngrats again Kody - ya done yourself, your team and you Dad and family well...they are all proud of ya.
