For those who are curious of the size of the Icons Target ID numbers compared to the original Deus and ORX here is a picture.
I will say the icon is an improvement for those wanting a larger and brighter TID screen.
Plus it has a volume control. The Deus and ORX remotes speaker are just on or off.
Performance is still up for debate on which will have an advantage in my mild TN soil.
For the owners that have a custom coin shooting programs with their preferred hz tone configured tones, tone breaks, notch settings or use the XY screen in your Deus I think you will be disappointed in the fact you cannot dial in your preferred preferences.
You have to remember the original Deus was their flagship detector for at least 12 years that has about every setting needed and then some for customized search
