ID for large cent?

Scenario84

New member
Can anyone tell me what tone and TID a large cent makes on the safari? I KNOW there has to be one around my hunting grounds. I've found too many 1700s buttons and relics to believe there's not one. At least that's my hope!

Thanks! I got my fingers crossed. Of course I dig every solid 30-39 I get, but I have lots of old barbed wire and fencing buried where I hunt, and they give off iron with chirps of 37-38 constantly. Frustrating but I have learned to recognize them in pinpoint mode. Very helpful because the chirps occur about 4inches from the actual object

Found 5 so far most read 39. thouhgt I was going to see a quarter.Got two new ones the other day 1829,1810.

Thanks for the info! Due to flooding rains I'm stuck inside waiting!

I have found several all read 39 good high tone but not silver tone. Put it this way its a signal I promise you or anyone will not miss and would not pass up.

Ok good. I figured it would come in decent as I've found deep flat buttons come in nice and strong. It's just every flat button I find builds the excitement that the next signal could be a colonial coin or other old coin
