How much does the idx pro weight and how much does the mxt weight?..Thank you happy hunting,.PS: I still dont know which one to buy.The mxt looks like 3 detectors in one so more versetile...
 
if you buy an MXT, get a set of headphones with volume control. other than that, it is an excellent machine.
 
I own both. If money is no problem get the MXT. A little noisier, but once you learn it, provides you with more info on targets. The weight in about the same. I can't tell the difference, but I think the MXT is a few ounces more.
You can't go wrong with either one.
