If i cause another to judge me, Have i offended THEE.

Jim West Pa

New member
this came to me last nite during my confessions of the day and i gotta tell ya. It had me tossin and turnin thinkin 'bout it.

Here is one o' Janet's "takes" on it that she just e-mailed me.

"is "THEE" God?

I mean there is validity to this.....we are instructed to conduct ourselves to be 'blameless'....as we've been told, (not only is God watching) but everyone else is too...we are instructed to talk to the talk, but unless we walk the walk, then all credibility is gone."

Can i get some other thoughts on this?

you asked: "If i cause another to judge me, Have i offended THEE."

No, you have not offended God if you cause someone to judge you for some offense.

Yes, we offend. Offenses have to do with wounding the heart. But the good news is that God is dealing graciously with ALL our offenses and so is not offended by them . . .

2Co 5:19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation."

Eph 4:32 yet become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, dealing graciously among yourselves, according as God also, in Christ, deals graciously with you."

Col 2:13 Who rouses Him from among the dead, you also being dead to the offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He vivifies us together jointly with Him, dealing graciously with all our offenses,

We are always been watched by those who know we are Christian. We need to always have on the full armor of God! After all we are the only Bible some will ever see.
