First of all to the question it would be interesting to find out if somehow you have the option to go back to a previous version. I think thats a Dilek question. It's hard to imagine why you would want to. That doesn't answer the question as to whether you can or not , that's above my pay grade , but the changes are really very subtle. I think it's normal to think the upgrades result in a totally different acting machine but Nokta is really only addressing small issues. In my detecting the last couple of days in the same alkaline public trashy parks I notice little difference even though I have been using my new LG35 coil.
Why I upgraded?Guess I’m confused as to why you upgraded to begin with. But that being said I’m finding the changes completed generally enhance the detector. As for 1.11 Im going to have to wait until this blasted snow goes away and the temps start to stabilize with the daytime highs in the 40s
Well that’s good to knowWhen I tried to download the 1.11 to my new machine that had 1.05
It automatically selected 1.09
With a friend's help we went back thru the download process. Thanks Oldkoot.
At the download screen.
We discovered by clicking the down arrow next to the version to be downloaded.
All the versions were there.
From 1.05 to 1.11
So yes. I'd say you could go back to previous versions.
Im already in Florida lolThanks for the help guys and DigDog come to florida we don't fight with snow or cold
Having a bottlecap reject is not a subtle change in my opinion , this saves a lot of time digging these time waster junkers. Time saved that can lead to more finds of coins or other treasures. Better unmasking in M3 when in foil is good too. Like you say though all of the other changes won't do anything much at all that you will notice. It's hard to imagine why you would want to. I trust the engineers at Nokta over what some one says about a detector. Some people can never be pleased with a software upgrade, my opinion is that v1.11 is by far the best version.i was happy with 1.07 then kept updating as everyone was saying how much better it is. I basically dig about everything, regardless of the id, if it beeps i dig lol.
So I don’t know if it really made a difference to me personally, i think your soil conditions is the biggest factor and everyone’s is different. I haven’t had any issues with the updates but just saying there was at least one person who just posted they were not happy with the new version as it was worse for them.
It would just be nice that if the new version happened to be worse for you for whatever reason you could go back.
And some people aren’t happy no matter what or nothing is ever enough lolI trust the engineers at Nokta over what some one says about a detector. Some people can never be pleased with a software upgrade, my opinion is that v1.11 is by far the best version.
I went to test the VERSION 1.11 on the most heavily loaded with junk site i could find that was hit hard by me with many detectors and the Legend with V1.11 was unmasking very very well.
This detector with V1.11 is perfectly good. People who don't like it , just don't have a clue IMHO.
What coil were you using when you tested it in your heavily loaded with junk site?I trust the engineers at Nokta over what some one says about a detector. Some people can never be pleased with a software upgrade, my opinion is that v1.11 is by far the best version.

That is a great question, from my understanding from talking to people you can go back to 1.09 if you do not like 1.11, the big question in my mind can you go back to a version that is even earlier than 1.09 like say 1.07 if you found you did not like 1.09 or 1.11 or can you go to a version that was earlier than the version your Legend initially came with like say if your legend came with 1.07 or 1.09 can you revert back to say 1.05If I was to download and install 1.11 can I remove it and go back to1.09 if I don't like it
No more frequencies, basically the same detector with some added features that can make it function better depending on your soil and hunting methods. My Legend is running 1.07, but I have only used it once and it seems to be fine. Would anyone care to share a really good reason to update from a version that seems to be functioning properly? I mean is a higher version going to provide my legend more depth or better stability or more frequencies, etc. ?
