If only you could have seen the look on her face...

Pete in MI

New member
I got home a little bit ago. Having gone to church then to the nursing home to get Sherry's Mom and then from there to home and home to work. As I sat in my recliner, our big Doberman wanted to greet me home so he slide right up beside me to give me one of those Doberman hugs....leaning his head against me to say I love you and missed yuu....then bang...the stand next to my chair was knocked over, along with my laptop, mouse and other items.

Casey got up and came over to pick up everything. She se the stand back up and placed the computer on it. She then picked up the mouse pad and the mouse. As she picked up the mouse something surprised her....no wires. She had a strange look on her face as Sherry said quick hook up the cable so Pete can use his computer. Casey is still standing there with the mouse in the air looking it over....wondering...where's the cord??? The look was a Kodak moment and didn't have the camera. If only you could have seen that look.

Guess it takes awhile to get used to me using a wireless mouse  and Casey didn't know I even had one.

She knows now though

Ya should have tried - OH no the mouse might be dead, he is not moving! :heh:

Now that would have been a good pic! Cannot always get them though when they happen! God Bless and tell Sherry Happy Mother's Day and Casey, too! :) Betty

they sure are loveable...and lean....their way of giving hugs...our little min pin can give hugs by pressing his cheek against mine...the big guy can't do that so he leans. Smart dogs though. And ours is always watching the baby when it makes noises...I think he worries about the baby and would protect him to his own death if need be.

Thanks Betty. Had all 3 (Sherry's Mom, Sherry and Casey) here yesterday to share the Mom Day together. All went rather well except Leelan still has not learned when to be awake or asleep...and that is Mom Casey;s fault for not teaching him when and how to fall asleep so Mom gets exhausted.

Well babies have their own schedules of sleeping, eating and crying until they are a little older and have a steady schedule used by mama, so he won't wake her up and tire her out! Been there and done that! God Bless! Betty
