Could be a great place to metal detect. I heard about it
early this morning on NPR Radio.

Anyone ever been there?

Gotta be careful here. The Lower Colorado River Authority doesn't allow metal detectors in its parks.

Can I use a metal detector on LCRA parkland?
Using a metal detector is not allowed on LCRA parkland. See Land and Water Use Regulations.


This isn't a park of course, but there may be similar restrictions
