If you want an F75 before Christmas buy it NOW

Hi,

Well, this is getting nuts.

There is a gold rush in Sudan. The people over there got it in their heads that only a Minelab GPX-4500 could find gold, and they have literally bought every one on the planet. It is almost impossible to get a GPX right now.

Now apparently they have decided the T2 and F75 can do well on gold, and they are scouring the country and cleaning them out fast. I'm getting emails daily from people looking for units. I called my supplier and was told F75 Ltd. is gone for good, and they are sold out of F75s until the first of the year. So I'm sold out until after Christmas. I suspect the same thing is happening at other dealerships.

Bottom line is if you want an F75 or T2 for Christmas you'd best get one ASAP because these buyers when they contact a dealer buy every unit they have in stock. They are for real and they have serious money.

So, are they paying top dollar for used ones? Who are the buyers and just how much are they willing to give?

Dear Steve,

Thank you so much for your help!

Sincerely,
First Texas Products

All kidding aside, what Steve says about a gold rush in Sudan is true...

And the F75 Ltd is the first detector I've owned that was a MAJOR improvement over what I had before, although I never had the original F75.

I'm no high roller, and I agonized long and hard over whether to put out the big $ for the LTD. Now that I have I can tell you I have no regrets.

All the talk you hear about not that much difference in detecting capability between different models, I used to believe it. I know better now.

Hi,

Well, it seems the units are going to a number of African countries plus Mongolia and probably some South American countries also. Pretty much anywhere there is gold nuggets and poor locals. The buyers are scattered all over the country. I would expect they will start running up the price of used units just like they've done with Minelab.

I've not sold to any of these people myself. What is irritating me is I can't get detectors for my local customers.

I would think both the F75 and T2 would be about equally proficient at finding gold. Judging by the auction prices now, I guess the Africans have decided the T2 is better at finding gold than the F75.

One bidder on ebay has bought 4 T2's for a total of 10,000.00. Has bids on more.
