I have a question any of these modals have a threshold based AM ?

I would like to try the Mini max also just to see how they run.

They do fine with out a threshold, if you want some chatter turn up the sensitivity all the way.
I think an active threshold might work better on a non motion or a very slow motion machine or in such in pinpointing mode.
The Vista Gold doesn't have a pinpoint mode, guess there was no real reason to add a threshold.

Amberjack, you need to buy and try a DeepTech you'll see what I mean. They do put some fun back into detecting without adding a lot of noise,
noticed my Gold is not bothered by EMI like Fishers and Tecknetics. You can concentrate on detecting............

I was asking just for like gold field work on real small gold under .5 of a gram, do they pick up small targets like that in disc mode? I know they seem sensitive anyway so just wondering how they would do in that cross over?

yeah I would like to try one for the park if they could do both a bonus !!

Has no problem picking up my 12 grain nugget (about .7 gram) at 4" last time I was testing. Think it picked up my 3.2 grain as well at about 1" in disc mode. That is using the Super 6 coil. If I remember correctly it as good as the GoldBug Pro sensitivity wise but deeper.

Glad to have a U.S. dealer finally. I love the Vista Gold and Vista RG 1000 V2 and hope you will be stocking accessories for both detectors. I would be interested in trying out any of Deeptechs other units, so I hope you stock all accessories for any that you sell...Stuart
