Starting to get the Hang of the explorer, went to a nearby park to try out the new se i got.
Got a high pitch that only was high one direction, medium the other.
ANYTIME i get a high pitch, from now on i realise something made it do that!
I dug two wheats,a 1919 and a 1949
.
the 1919 was a good 9-1/2 inches.
Maybe silver next time!

thats so true bob i do the same thing with my explorer xs if im not totally sure i dig becouse you just never know especially on the deep signals :detecting:

Great finds. Its better to dig iffies than wonder on the way home, what if ?!?!? I dig a lot of deep trash but some of it is a big suprise when you see that edge of silver or the green indian looking up at you. The angle of the coin, depth, gound dampness, etc have so much to do with the signal.
