Ive gotta take this vicodin all the time now for the pain in my L-shoulder;and Im finding myself gettin irritated at my wife for small things-Have to stop and really think before I respond to whatever she says.This constant pain;and takin these nasty painkillers is affecting my mental state(or lack thereof,I should say).....she says some things and it registers as "She lookin for a fight,and I'll give her one";but shes not-Im just finding it hard to keep things from getting to me,with all thats goin on in my life right now....

Hey warthog. Tell your wife you love her and you need her to help you through this. You have faced alot in the last couple of months, with the job stuff and all. Sometimes God puts us through tests to see how we respond, which should be in faith. Trust in God and He will see you through all of this. Satan will try and bring division between you and your wife as you struggle with the pain. If satan can destroy the marriage, he can destroy the person. Pray and pray and pray my brother. We are praying for you.

Prayers for you, WG steve and for your wife! Pain is terrible as it gives the body no rest or recuperation time! I have arthritis all over my body which keeps me sore and achy, but I just keep praying and saying, Lord touch me with Your healing virture and give me strength to go through and the power to overcome each day! I pray that prayers for Cliff and all who are ill with disease and pain....like bad backs, Fibromyalgia, COPD, and any other problems that make a person hurt and not feel well! Hang in there and tell your wife you love her and also Jesus, for He is the Great Physician.....the Healer of our bodies, minds and souls! Amen!

I know it's not always easy to be nice when you're in pain! And some medicines can give us a cloudy perception of things. You have been under a lot of stress lately too, and that doesn't help matters in the least. I'm praying for ya Steve. Hang in there! Try to be nice to your wife through all of this. I'm sure she's doing the best she can. Remember, when YOU go through something, it's not only YOU that is affected by it! Your wife is going through it too and also carries a load on HER shoulders during this. I sure hope things get better for y'all real soon!
