Allthough i'd love a wee baby eastern and a nice pair o' red pygmies "D

He was a real snake guy down in Florida, and injected himself with venom every day...I went down there and hung out back in the 70's...I was nuts about snakes and wanted to catch a eastern diamondback as big as a motorcycle tire...anyway, he showed me pictures of his hand and leg where he got bit, and gently said thats what awaits me if I want to fool with snakes too much..I love snakes to this day, but dont go out of my way to fool with the poisonous ones, thanks to him, Oh I've messed with a few prarie rattlers and whatnot, but never forgot those pictures...we do have some mighty fine blue racers up here, and of course those cute little hoggies..good to see you back Jim!.

Nothin exotic, jist yer run o' the mill eastern US kinds.
I can relate 'bout the eastern " the size of a motorcycle tire".
My desire tho is catch me a wee youngin and raise it up to see how big i can get it.
They are surely beautifull creatures. The most beautifull of the CROTALIS in my book.
I had cages that i designed and built that allowed me to feed, water, house and clean the cages without ever havin to be in direct contact with the snake.
I NEVER physicaly handled any o' my venomous snakes. That is a matter of when and not if you'll get bit.I'm sure Bill told you that also.
I am older and wiser now and wouldn't keep anything venomous.

I'd sure love to git 'hold of a few of the ELAPHE from Brians' area tho.

man, I love a big bull snake! used to catch a few out in South Dakota down by Angostora Reservior...nowadays, we call all snakes either "banded river kraits" or "diamondbacked copperheaded water mocitsins" which is what people in Alabama call just about every snake they see...even gardner snakes are called by one of these names...just a little family joke you might say...the wife doesn't like em, but the daughter does,
I came across two indigos mating in Florida a few years back...they would have been worth some money, but I just watched. that sort of sounds creepy huh? Its hard to find wild snakes anymore, just like frogs and turtles, seems everything in the reptile and amphibian world has taken a beating...well, i'm gettin up early and hitting the surf with the CZ 20..heavy waves and a good rip really plowed out some cuts today. Good luck all.

that should speed it up quite a bit, most the memory sticks are not all that expensive, but you can check and see just how much the one you got will handle first ;) vic
