Im back off the self pity train-BACK IN THE SADDLE

...got back from the Dr today -1st test came back-AND Im feelin better-the antibiotics are finally kickin in;and Im no longer a rambling nit-wit acting like I got a mental problem-like some may think.Sometimes,when Im sick;things look worse than they are......We had Advent bible study last night at church.Got all my Christmas shopping done,Christmas Eve we are headed up to the wifes parents,be home the Monday after.Im making plans for after the 1st of the year,my Dr.,a fellow church council member and I are makin plans to go to Cabela's down in Dundee(Monroe)for the day-The Dr.suggested to me last week a day trip for us somewhere.(My Dr. is a member of our Church).I mentioned it last night to the Dr's wife,and my fellow church council member heard me and said"OH YEAH!!!CABELAS!!!CAN I GO TOO!!!I said Why not???Make it a threesome-Guys day out,so to speak.Sounds good to me........B/T/W:Regarding my last post-After I got my wits about me;I said a prayer to the LORD:IN THE NAME OF JESUS;satan,go away from me!!!In a while;I felt better!!!THANKS for all the prayers,im glad im on here.Steve.....

warthog: your earlier post struck me hard, I sat and stared at it for 15 min or so, came back to it a couple of times since. Holy Spirit had ahold for me in a spirit of compassion for you and I prayed for you. That doesn't happen real often, seems like sometimes we can get worn down and complacent by all the constant beseeching for prayer for everything from hangnails to cancer but you plea struck a different and deep cord. I was thrilled to see your post tonight, that the gloom and doom had lifted some and the enemy wasn't drowning you so severely. What a mighty God we serve! Merry Christmas! He is risen! Ed in co.

...and enjoy your trip to Cabella's. I was in northwest Ohio for a training session with a company I used to work for and one evening a co-worker and I drove up to Cabella's. Man, I was blown away with the amount of merchandise in that store. Steve, sometimes I wish I could express how I feel like you do. Glad you are feeling better brother!!
