Okay
Went to an old site that I have been to several times using the sock coil and this place just has not produced much. So I decided to try the big excellerator at this site. Put in 2 1/2 hrs. Stiff breeze made it a little cool but I had a good time, Found one clad penny and a nickel and a boot spur and many other assorted items. Nothing great and found one deep target, a half od a mason jar lid at 14 inches. the spur was 7-8 inches down, over the years the rain has washed the top soil off and the dirt is red clay. Tough going, the area is super trashy, a lot of nails and decaying iron. Ran relic mode gain on preset disc at 3 trigger in center, at times it got a bit noisy but the noise was the low tones of all the nails and trash. Any way here is a pic of my digs.
