Surgery Monday

We finally have everything in order for Brian's tubal and trach replacement surgery.

The tubes will improve his hearing immensely! His right ear is full of fluids and he can barely hear out of it.

The trach is the original size he was fitted with about 40 pounds ago! His ENT said that just the force of breathing through the small trach is burning 500 calories a day. Our prayer is that the new trach will fit. It may not work because of the size of the tumor under his chin.

The bleeding from his nose seems to have stopped.

Hope all of you have a great weekend!!

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

Bleeding
Posted 22 hours ago

It's 1am. Brian woke me a few minutes ago to show me several drops of blood on his leg. My first thought was that his nose was bleeding again. But, the bandage on his nose appeared clean and I thought I saw a little blood in his mouth.

He removed the bandage and it was clean. That means the blood came from his mouth and that is not a good sign. Using a flashlight to inspect his mouth I could see more blood.

He is frightened...and so are we. We gave him some medicine to relax him so that he can go back to sleep. Please pray this isn't a major bleed.

Please!!

Thank you,

Doug, Carol, Sarah and Brian

(While watching Leelan I get no computer time to check emails...he wants to watch videos of firetrucks, jets, helicopter and his other cartoon things like The Booples.)
We do have good news...Sherry saw the eye surgeon and she should get her vision back once the cataract is removed. Thank you Jesus.

Sorry for the delays..Keep Casey in your prayers as she is still carnal minded. Bless you all.

Praying for all your requests! Keep the faith and know God is working on Casey, who will probably get worse until she finds Jesus as her own personal Savior, too! You aren't bad with your not posting often...God knows that you are busy with Leelan and doing the best you can with the way things are right now! Praise God for Sherries cataract removal and being able to see better again! I think my cataracts are growing, as I am having problems with seeing and reading like I once did! May God Bless you all in your trials and problems and save Casey unto eternal life and for more love in her heart for one another and godly wisdom in all she makes decisions about! Amen! Ma Betty
