Today I was hunting a beach on lake Superior don't know why every time I go it's a complete bust only found a dime and 2 pop tabs woohoo lol . I thought forget it I'll hit the dry sand and see if I could get some clad .... no dice. As I was hunting the towel line two guys came walking down the hill asked if had any luck then asked what type of detector I told him what it was and he said he just bought an E-track said he hunts for float copper his last find was close to 1,000 lbs 50 dollars shy of 3 grand. I said to them I've thought about it but wouldn't know where to start. There response was it's every where. So this week I think I'll load up the cooler with water grab the plat book and take a ride. Here is some info http://www.dayooper.com/NativeCopper.htm
