I'm just thankful to God

Tony N (Michigan)

Well-known member
Just wanted to let you all know that I am thankful to God for everything.

Remember how dark the world was before we believed . . . groping about in darkness?

I just can't wait for Christ to come back! Of course, I would like to find just one silver dollar before then LOL!

But really, I just can't wait!

Oh, and Lord, thanks for helping Brian.

Come Lord Jesus!

Tony

Good to see ya.

Good to see you too!

Continuing the theme of thankfulness, the Scriptures say "God is love." What is love? Look at 1 Corinthians 13 called "the love chapter." All that love is, God is, for God is love.
I am thankful that God is not hate. Can you imagine if God was some Gestapo Hitler type? Or what if He was the worst nightmare any fiction writer could come up with like Chainsaw Massacre?

Years ago when my dad was still alive I was reading the verse that said "the pure in heart shall see God." That verse always bugged me since "God is spirit," and "no man at any time ever saw God." When my dad came to visit I told him I finally figured that verse out about the pure in heart seeing God. My dad said: Oh? I said, Yea. Whenever I see you I see God for I see the attributes of God in your life. My dad just elbowed me and chuckled.
But it is true. My dad was so loving, so patient, so kind all the years I knew him. It is so sad to see him gone but I know that God will raise him from the dead and we will be together again.

Well, that's just another thing I am thankful for . . . God is love rather than hate.

Amen Tony and I too would like to find a silver dollar or even a half dime.

Lord come quick.

We're ready for the rapture too Tony!!! Also, thanks for your prayers...Brian is doing great this morning.

Hi Pete, I've found one half dime and some 2 cent coins but no III cent ones yet. Never found a Barber half or Barber quarter yet either. No gold coins. As the Lord tarries may He bless us with more nice finds!

HI Tony! Glad to read your good post about God's love! Our Father in heaven loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place, so that we might be saved and all we need to do is ask! When a sinner comes to Him with a sincere, repenting heart He will not turn them away! Just think of how Jesus suffered for us and shed His precious blood for us! Now that is love! Love is a verb....an action word and our Lord paid the ultimate price for us in His actions of being striped for our healing and dying on the cross and then living again, so we can live, arise and meet Him in the air someday and hopefully soon! Your father must have been a wonderful man! My dad was a bitter person from his hard and difficut living as a child and was very strict with his children! But I have forgiven him and hopefully, since he was saved before he died, I will meet him and mom again!

LOVE.....oh how marvelous is our Savior's LOVE! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus!!!

God Bless!

Tony, those are beautiful words;;

Praise and Thanksgiving to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!! He is Pure Love!

Hi Steve! We are all growing in the Lord from right where we are in Him now! We should be climbing up Zion's Mountain higher and higher each day! When I fail to live completely as I should for Jesus, I just say, "I'm sorry, Lord, and please help me to do better and He does! God forgives us so therefore we forgive those who sin against us! There is a song: HE'S STILL WORKING ON ME! I'm not where I should be, but He's still working on me! We know when He is working on us and trying to get us to listen to His guidance by His Holy Spirit and His written Word! So we either get better or get bitter! Jesus is the only way to live our lives through Him! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus!

In Christ Jesus we are made perfect as He is perfect!

God Bless!
Betty
