So those who have them might not have bothered trying?
As the Summer progresses it's inevitable some will venture onto the beaches so there could be some interesting observations on that topic?

I would have to confess that I rarely 'air test' a new detector with a gold chain primarily because I don't own one!"
 
Gold chains are hard to find unless they have something attached to them a higher freq of 20 is needed just for the chain maybe if it is balled up it 20 will catch it
