Impact update/wireless headphones

Just placed an order for the 2.4 Ghz red edition wireless headphones. I know my impact does not have the latest update (v1.16?) and I am under the impression that the update will be required to pair the headphones with the detector. Is there anywhere online that would have a tutorial for the update and pairing of the headphones? Would like to do this with minimal headaches.....

Finally got the update figured out and installed. Fed Ex tracking shows my headphone will be here tomorrow.

hi there indiana mark, can i ask you a question..

i just got a nokta impact off someone online and i didnt get the usb cable with it so i cannot upgrade my detector ..ive just got the red edition wireless headphones and it came with a usb charger.. would i be able to use that to update my software to the latest version, only ive tried and it doesnt seem to work, will i need the correct cable to update the machine?

The mini USB Cable is what you need. The one that came with my headphones is a charge only cable. However a playstation controller cable works, a older cell phone cable works. Most Mini USB cables will work.

Yes you can purchase the cable anywhere and it will work fine and you will need to update yo the latest for your phones
