Imperial name plate

I've tried to find a Chrysler/Imperial that might have had this name plate but none have looked like this. It's made of solid brass so I figured it must be pre-WWII. It could have come from some type of appliance or machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seem like I have seen something like this on fridge or freezer back in the 50s or 60s, but we will see what anyone else think it is

I found this pic of a 1940s-1950s Imperial wood lathe. It’s very similar and maybe a 1920s-1930s nameplate would match.

Are there any attachment points on the back? Your piece does not strike me as being car related. If it were, I think it would be more elaborate. But, that is just my opinion.

No attachment points. Some kind of adhesive?
