Dug this thimble today and it just looked really good right out of the ground. Brought it home, showed it to my DH, and he told me how to unbend it using a piece of oak dowel and a rubber mallot. Okay okay, you can do it for me. But then I saw some writing on it and couldn't wait so I put a slender plyar handle inside it and a screwdriver and pryed and it broke. So it's ruined for future use and I DO sew. Anyway, I can read inside it says Mexico and Silver.
