Indians, buffs, and a worn V nickel...:minelab:

Getting cold in upstate NY hopeing to get at least to more weekends out, my finds for the weekend are IHS, 1905 1882 1888, two dateless buffs, and a vary worn V nickel...

Love those Indians. A very rare find for me. I remember as a youngster crawling under the front porch and finding Indians in the dirt. Sure would like to go detect that property.

Assuming that the V nickel is not a key date, you can get it to shine again by letting it sit in a bath of pure lemon juice. After a day or two, rub it lightly with some very fine steel wool. Repeat this process until it shines!
