Well, the spring breakers are here.....so i was up before dawn to try my luck at the beach, only had 2 hours to hunt, saw only one other MDer.Found the 2 earring's(925) one at a time, about 3 feet apart......cross and chain are also 925.....The sandal and small pink stone are junk....the pink stone was 4" down past the sand in the shell...just shows how well the 10x5 DD 18.75 coil works on small targets...I was only hunting the dry sand...called about card(canceled)....match box cars hit like buried beer cans....Be going out again Saturday at dawn!!!!!

Nice finds...... I have the exact same three coils and am very happy with them.
Joe

Not only for detecting but its a built in excuse why you can avoid the people you want to!

I have a collection of match box cars of (55) that I have found over the years. It is always fun to find them for the grand childeren

I like spring breakers. They party. They like to wear their 'bling'. The are careless with their money. Kind of like Fish and Game restocking the pond.

Ended up doing 3 days of 2-3 hour morning hunts at the same beach...Friday was the most productive with all the jewelry and matchbox cars...Saterday/and Sunday were just coins..most fresh drops,19.23 total.....the small pink stone that was found Friday is not marked, but looks better after cleaning ...i thought it was junk because of the rusty/corroded mass at the top of the setting, and what i thought was corrosion on the setting, that were salt deposits, looks nice now...Going to do more early morning beach hunts toward the end of the week...HH Bob

I traveled to Florida/Fort Lauderdale some 24 years ago,I was 24 by then.
Springbreak was crazy...party everywere.Pure fun for sure!

I remember I woke up one morning not feeling to good, looked out over the beach and saw some funny looking guys swinging there detectors.
I thought I will never be like them.Looking for junk...haa..what is that when you can have fun with girls, drinking to many Bud

Few more finds from yesterday..going back to the beach Thursday morning...found the buffalo when cleaning coins so don't know were or when i dug it,no date ,my third found, all no date.Been using the 5x10 DD 18.75 coil, its a real nickle killer, as well as small target finder...HH Bob

Did a 3 hour hunt at the beach this morning...1 silver 825 ring ("be true to your dreams")..2 earrings, about $4 in change, and a chucky cheese token. Used the 10x5 DD 18.75 coil ,dry sand only....HH Bob

Looks like it was a good week. I like the cross pennant.
