In a previous post I complained about my LS instability and noise and was about to get rid of it! I sent it in to Garrett and they did a great job and all covered by warranty( used det). They repaired a bad EMF ground, gaskets, new coil and installed mode "E". Now the unit is very quiet, locks on hard and doesn't make any difference when submerged. I hunted three yours on load tide up to my chest and found two rings, money and one nice laddies watch. The silver rind took 12 scoops to get to and when I was about to quit, out it popped. All in all I'm very happy I kept it and very pleased with Garrett (their the best). More finds to follow -Sandmagnet HH!
