Went out after work to try that little 3 x 7 inch coil. I went to an area with lots of rocks and grass. That little coil really performed. It has great separation capabilities. The area I searched had many nails, and in most cases the nails gave a double bleep so I just left them there. The 3 x 7 coil pinpoints like my other "DD"s, and that is you dance the coil back and forth drawing it back until the sound suddenly stops. The target is now at the tip of the coil. I was actually surprised to pull out some coins and an old medallion from that site. There should be some interesting hunts planned soon.

My last couple of land hunts with the GTI 2500 got me some loot and a silver dime. It's time again to do some penny popping so I can get a decent gold coin.
Below is a pic of my 1957 silver dime......
