Infinium Modification

How can I tell if my Infinium has the latest modifications.
Last fall I sent my Infinium into Garrett for repair to the headphone jack/plug that I damaged. When I did not get any reply for a few weeks, I checked the USPS for a delivery confirmation (it was insured). They had no record of its being delivered and told me to file an insurance claim. I e-mailed Garrett to verify that it was not received (required by USPS) and they said they had returned it, but could not find the tracking number. So they sent me a brand new unit in the original packaging.
Good deal! But I would like to know if the new unit has the modifications. I did notice that the new unit has a hole in the label in the center bottom of the front panel that I never noticed in the old unit, and do not see on photos.

The new Mono Coil upgrades for the Infinium, have only been available for about six to eight weeks. If you received your unit prior to this, I doubt that you would have them installed. You could check with Mary at Garrett Electronics. Just send her an email, asking her if the unit has all the upgrades in it. Send her the SERIAL NUMBER of the unit with your relevant details.
Her email address is maryp@garrett.com .
Hope this helps out.
Regards,
Phil. (Gold Mining Centre)

Thanks for the response Phil. There was a discussion on the Nuggetshooter forum in early January about the Mono coil modifications, so I thought they had been around longer than a few weeks. Perhaps that was only in the US.
