Hello all,
I am in the market for a PI. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the Infinium and it's sensitivity to gold jewelry. I will be hunting the NJ beaches, and there are several PI's I am looking at. One of my quesitions, if anyone knows, is what is the frequency ( not sure if I am using the correct terminology) of the detector. What I mean is, I was reading that lower uS ( like 15uS or 10Us) is more sensitive to gold. I know the Whites PI is at 15 and the HeadHunter PI has an adjustable from 15-50, while the Eric Foster Goldquest ( or whatever the name is ) has 10. They are a little out of my price range and I want a waterproof unit so I think it's between the Infinium, Whites or HH.
Any help or feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks and may all your hunts be safe and fun ( hey...they can't ALL be profitable !)
