Infinium Straight shaft aftermarket???

TNBob

New member
Who all makes a straight shaft for a Garrett Infinium. Who makes the cheapest one? Link to websites?
Thanks, Bob

The straight shaft should include the lower stem to get rid of the coil wobble....... not all aftermarket straight shafts include the lower stem..... so pick wise......I learned the hard way....

I'm about to customise one, using a brand called "Otto", it's fibreglass. You should contact some gold prospecting stores and they might have one. You will need to buy a handle, the longest lower shaft that you can get, make the end of the lower shaft thinner to fit the coil (should be easy), make a strap that goes over the arm cuff, drill a few holes and that's it.

You should be able to do this with the anderson shafts as well, just make the end of the lower stem thinner, drill a few holes etc. I'd rather use fibreglass because it's lighter.

Hey Try( Anderson Detector Shafts)
they have custom shafts for just about all the detectors ! in the market !

You will want the anderson's. It includes the lower rod in choice of zero flex composite or carbon fibre and comes in long shaft or reg shaft versions with lower shaft 3/8 washers plus it has a 1 year warranty. I have yet to see anybody warrant their aftermarket products like anderson's does
