Hi. I have a couple questions about the Infinium.
Technically, what exactly is the discrimination knob doing? Is it a pulse delay?
And, what does the frequency adjust do? The product data states: "The Discrimination Control Becomes A Frequency Adjust Control, With 32 Separate Frequencies To Choose From." While the Garrett website states: "The Infinium LS is the most rugged Pulse Induction detector, with 96 different frequencies" So what exactly does changing the frequency control do? One of the differentiators of a PI machine is that it is supposed to use multiple frequencies, so I am confused by this adjustment.
My main desire is to hunt for gold nuggets, so if someone could answer the questions above, plus address how they affect a desired target, like gold nuggets, that would be awesome.
