Garrett still repairs them and still has more Infiniums in stock. Call Garrett and see what it might cost you for repairs and warranty work.

Had a similar problem 7 or 8 years ago, sent it to Garrett, they did some magic, returned it to me; no problems since. Well almost.
When I get too close to the Amtrack High Speed Acela train...no hope for the Infinium or the Excalibur except to go deep and away from the tracks.
