I have a garrett carrot, that is unstable the first two hours I use it.after it warms up it gets more stable.ive had two of the propointers, and they did the same thang.ive found if you turn it on about two hours before you use it,they will be more stable when you go out and use it. also ive owned a whites trx,and I hope a whites rep.reads this.the trx is a good pinpointer, not great but good.but I don't understand, and ive talked to others who agree.why whites missed the mark,by putting the pointer out with such poor volume.with people like me with good hearing its still a problem that's why I sold it. there or good pinpointer, but the great on has not been made yet.

Correct.
TRX pointer volume too low. I have and use for backup only to Garrett propointer. I don’t like removing headphones to hear a pinpointer sing out. Takes time and is cumbersome. Pointer wasn’t tested in real world detecting with detector application imo.
