hi just joined yesterday. i live in south east Michigan. just wondering what are good places to go hunt thanks for reading

There are sooooo many places.

Playgrounds, sports fields, woods, trails along creeks, backyards, front yards, hills, fair grounds, beaches, shallow water, grass boulevards. Pretty well anywhere people congregate.

to find the older sites first go to the library and search for books on the town your in and study them for old schools, church picnic groves, lakes parks ect..
.if you need tips on how to dig a target, pinpoint, clean finds ect.. just ask the people on the fourms thay can help you will find people on here with from two days to
over forty years detecting so happy hunting and good luck

At the library old copies of the city directory contain invaluable info as do old copies of the newspaper, especially the religious and entertainment sections.
