A sad day here in Relic Territory My MXT has seen it's last day.I've totally wore it out even the paint is gone bought it when they first came out.But i'am ordering a new one on Monday.It by far is a relic and coin magnet .Can you help me out as to a good pair ear phones to get mine are pretty rough time for new ones too.Thanks Pipes

Gray Ghost's are good phones.



Before you put your MXT in the detector cemetary.......Send it into whites and let them give you a quote on repairs. Or do you just need it for an excuse to get a V3?

If you do not want your Old and Dying MXT,I am interested in it.

I love the Sun Ray Pro Gold phones. Each have a personal preference. I love the way the leather ear pieces fit and breathe. Please send your relic MXT to Whites. They might be able to revive it for a small fee and then you could sell it and still have the best of both worlds. HH and good luck, Nancy

thanks for the help Grey ghost sounds good ive seen them at some of the hunts down south.V3 no way Iam MXT it cant be beat besides i have all the coils .Good hunting .Pipes

Thanks for the info Nancy thats what i'am going to do.That way i'll have two MXTs one for back up you can;t beat that the MXT is by far the best out there it's one great detector. Whites will have a field day when they see mine :.It's really been thru some some tough conditions . over the yrs.there one great detector. Pipes

Glad to hear you're going to keep it for a back up. I like that idea, just like having good insurance! I bet White's have seen many older detectors that are in great need of repair.....ugly or not. HH, Nancy

Ugly ??? If you send it in get new arm pads, side decals and switch boots. They sent them to me free, the service is resonable. They have fixed older than yours. Rob
