Information on a Secret Project!

scubadetector

New member
Tested the prototype of a secret project yesterday. This monster has a 620lb magnet inside and we tested it on one of the beaches I hunt. Pulled up nails, bottle tops, and a few other pieces of junk. The scuba tank raises it to the surface after it is hovered and pushed along the bottom. it also raises the magnet on the inside of the middle section if it gets stuck on something that it cannot lift. Interesting concept. You can read about it on my Facebook page if it is legal to post a link. If not I apologize in advance. Second story down. Can you imagine pushing this through the water an a Canadian beach were all their coins are magnetic? Clink. Clink, Clink!! It was made for a much larger operation at a cost of over 25 grand. I just played with it to evaluate it and make suggestions.

Interesting concept... if I could figure out how to make a miniature one to sweep the lake beach prior to hunting I’m sure it would make some cool targets detectable that otherwise would not be..

That's the ultimate Magnet Fishing magnet . I've done a little magnet fishing , sometimes you can get some odd stuff out of the water .

I find some VERY odd stuff here in Michigan. Guns, bombs, machine gun magazines, bayonets and pieces of them. I do quite well on ferrous treasures!
