INPUT FOR A WATER MACHINE

RELIC_HUNTER

New member
Excluding the Infinium, with all the water machine's out there,I am looking for a machine to hunt the surf to waist deep.My present machine is the PI 1000 and I am tired of digging everything at a foot or deeper.

or borrow one if you can.....my choice is the Beach Hunter ID I have the Super 12 coil on it...I here they soon will offer this detector with a 10" spider coil also. This detector is good you can hunt the DRY+WET+SURF out to 25' its got VISUAL ID AND TONE...IN ALL METAL you can still use the 3 light system to ID iron...it gets small gold...I have found chains with mine also..It comes with a HIP/CHEST MOUNT BAG ALSO hanging on your chest makes reading lights easy..this way works great in chest deep water you can float the box right in front of your face to see lights...for $400+ more dollars you can get a EXCAL II.... good luck in your hunt!! take your time choose wisely!!

In addition to the BHID, you could select the Excal or Excal II or the Fisher CZ20/21. Both the Fisher and Excal would be great units for surf hunting. Both have discrimination too. Any of the 3 mentioned units will fare well for you. I have personally used the Excal 800 & 1000 and own both units. I have the CZ21-10 on order and should have it next week. I have no PI right now, but Infinium or PI PRO are on the menu for the future possibly, we'll see. Maybe I will not need them, but I probably will need to replace my PI.

One of the water machines I own is the Beach Hunter ID. All the points Beach Hunter listed in his post are true!

I also own an Infinium, CZ20 and CZ6A (the CZs are all new and I'm learning them now).

Good luck in whatever machine you use!!! Once you're out in water, don't forget to post and share your experiences with all of us!!!

Thanks and HH!!!
