Interesting Find Today 3-28-'10

Hello Fellow Seekers!

Went hunting @ Lake Michigan today and found an interesting coin about the size of a quarter. Actually I didn't look at it until I had gotten home and went to wash/clean the coins. What I thought was a quarter turns out to be a Malasian 20 Sen of 1981. On the reverse side is an unique picture that looks like the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel complex but with a 'Cresent Moon & Star' on the face of the coin. Now how did that get all the way to Holland, Michigan??? Found about 2 dollars in change using the Tesoro Tejon. Oh My Gosh! that thing runs deep! Some of the targets were 10" to 12" deep running sensitivity @ 10 in discriminate mode for silent search.

I like foriegn coins. Nice find in my book for sure.

The many times I have been to the Big lake, I see many foriegn tourists there. That is likely how the coin got there.

I've never seen one like that...

Lisa
