It's been a while since I posted any finds, but my buddy and I went out to a couple of old house sites today
and searched around a bit.
The first site did not give up much, so after lunch we decided to try another site on the way hiking out.
This site was not much better although there was a lot of iron pieces in there.
I manage to get my coil over this token and that was about the best find of the day for us.
I was pleased that it cleaned up pretty good (I couldn't make out anything on the side that has Charlottesville on it although I could see the other side pretty good.
I'm thinking this dates back to the depression, but not sure.
If anyone has any ideas as to the age, please respond.
Thanks for looking,
Felix

Nice token Felix!

Nice find. I have found various hard times tokens and tokens used during the civil war. Some are struck over Us 2 cent pieces or other cents. Google that token, you may be surprised. Peace Roy
