Interference on the T2

Youngted

New member
The only problem that I get with my T2 is that should I get within 8 yards of a electric cattle fence I get bad interference. Any one know how to combat this.? Apart from moving out of range of course.

About all you can do is turn down your sensitivity/gain and hopefully the machine will stabalize enough to use. If that don't work try a G-2. It is much more user friendly. HH :teknetics:

As was said turn down sens and try a small coil. Probably not gonna help due to the electrical field around the wire.

If turning down the sens only helps a little you can still somewhat hunt through the noise. Its annoying but I have a park like that. I would just hunt elsewhere but I find jewelry every time I go there.
The other thing you can try is hunting that area in all metal mode. A wavy cattery threshold is a little more tolerable than the constant beeping of disc with the Emi.
