IS GOLDSCAN4 WITH THE PROBE FOR SALE IN THE US

Hi Buzz,
The Goldscan hasn't been made for several years. Any that are around are either secondhand or new old stock.
Eric.

Finders in AU on there web site has new units with a probe for sale?????

It is old, new stock that hasn't been sold. It needs to be modified to more modern standards. You have to set the auto-tune up better and increase gain sensitivity and lower Pulse Delay some, plus a few more things for better low noise operation. It would be better for you to probably invest in a new model GoldQuest SS, your results would be better at a better price.

Hi Don
I already have a GoldquestSS and like it very well. I thought the Goldscan4 was a new type of machine sold in AU but Mr Bill and Eric cleared it up for me already, thank you all for your input much appreciated.

Also Buzz, The shipping from AU is about $100.00-150.00. I have a Goldscan I am modifying at the time, while it will be good, it was the right price!, your GoldQuest will be better. Are you in NM? I am in Las Cruces, just moved here in Sept.

Hi again, Thought I saw ABQ in your e-mail, must have been something else, looks like you are in Idaho. Is is cold LOL

Hi Don
I live in Idaho, I been modifying my Goldquest with Reg's help for the DD setup. You can scroll down on the page to see the unit. I am going to install a probe next. Reg also built my DD coil and everything works very nice. Right now we are getting snowed on so there is plenty of time to mess around with the unit, hopefully the winter won't be too long this year.
