AS I drive around this winter I find myself
looking at possible search sites. even
writing down address to look up for permission..

Thats normal...BUT..............................

Am i the only one that watches a TV commercial
with kids and wonders where the best spot in the
playground is?

Am I the only one that can watch a Gilligans Island
rerun and ignore Mary Ann ( or Ginger) and instead
wonder what the Howells might have lost on the beach?

AM I the only one to throw coins into a
snowpile just so i can look for it.. Testing
my detector is what I call it ..

DO you see a Hawain beach scene and wonder whats under
the sand, instead of looking at the sites ABOVE it??

When the phone rings do you automatically look
for the PINPOINT button?

Has anyone else besides ME thrown a magnet into a
creek to see what you snag?

Am i the only one thats going NUTS???

Can this be second year CRAZIES??

THINK SPRING

That's pretty funny because my wife watches Ghosthunters on tv all the time and with all the old places they go to all the time, I'm constantly commenting and wondering "Whats in there lawn ? ! ? ! As I write this post, there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground and snowing HEAVILY. Expecting 15 to 20...:sadwalk:

i feel your pain

Its not you,I have my wife, bro& sis in-law looking at the ground as soon as they get out of the car. My sis in-law chased me down to show me 0.22 she found on the parking lot.I found a new web site that has dumpster diving site looks fun.

I know, as I sit and write in this forum we are getting 12 - 18 inches! We already had about 5 inches on the ground to begin with!:garrett:

You guys don't fell bad I live in Naples fla. This is the worst year for huntting that I can remember in the passed 30+ years. the beaches are packed with people ,but know one is loosing any thing. this is also the coldest winter we had ,in the passed 80 years. The water is so cold that the people from up North won't even go in it.Know one in the water =no rings this year.So don't fell to bad.

Nar. I've often been checking out the background (or the main story) when watching the news. I see a large crowd in a story and I start to slivate.:detecting:

it seems as though we are all normal or weird which ever way we would like to look at it,, my wife says she hates the fact that now when she goes any where she has to go so slow as to not miss some sort of treasure on the ground,, she recons it is very contages,,

I heard that Florida is trying to outlaw metal detecting altogether? Whats that about? I'd think they
would have a real fight on their hands, not just from owners but from business's that sell metal detectors.

I don't exactly remember where I read that buut it was on one of the forums.

There was a show on the travel channel this morning about digging antique bottles and even tho it's a windy day, I got my 2500 and plan to hit a couple spots
today. After watching the meteorite men episodes, I am also looking at every black rock I see. Not to mention dreaming of finding golden caches in my sleep. I can do without alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc, but not my detecting. I am hopelessly hooked on the hobby, even tho I have not been as successful as I would have liked to be by now. I am building a strong foundation for future success at this time and hope to find some good finds this year.

This AM i watched the lady scuba dive for shark teeth then
