In WNY it has been raining,HARD, for weeks! :( :(:(
Is anyone having sunshine?

The silver lining is the ground will be easy to dig if it ever dries enough not to be mud.

4 days now in NY freaking annoying! Thought April was over?!

4 days here as well... but there was a break in the droplets falling and the ground was soft, wet, and conductive !! I got out after work last night...

It has not really rained where I live in Alabama for about two and a half months. It sucks the ground is hard and dry. I would kill for four days of rain about now. I am not hunting again until it rains and soaks the ground.

It's not raining down here in Louisiana, but everybody else's rain is flooding us out. We're almost used to it though; floods, huricanes, tornados, etc. Bring it on down here- we'll handle it for you, (most of the time).

Been raining here in East TN for the last week and a half. This weekend is looking like there might be a little sunshine finally.

It is not raining here in North Texas. According to national weather service, in my county, we have had 1.95 inches of rain in the last 6 months. The ground is so hard it takes the fun out of detecting. I feel bad for you guys having to deal with all the rain, I wish you could send it our way. -- Randy

Below (left photo) is our beach here in Coeur D' Alene, North Idaho under normal conditions.
Right photo shows our disappearing beach due to flooding from rain and snow melt.

I find a fair amount of jewelry with my E-Trac on these beaches when they are high and dry but
now I'll have to go scuba-diving for them. I don't like to put the E-Trac in water even though it's safe
up to the control box.

The E-Trac is excellent on Ocean beaches, wet or dry and it can be dipped into salt water
up to the control box. If you do this, be sure the salt water doesn't back flow into the control
box when you take it out of the salt or fresh water by tilting the coil higher than the control box.
