is it true that using the 3 khz coil on x terra 705 will find silver almost i repeat almost as well as minelab e trac?

In areas of moderate mineralization, I've found more silver coins with my X-705 than I have the E-TRAC. Granted, I've put more hours on the X-TERRA than my E-TRAC. And it is tough to compare two detectors when using different sizes and designs of coils. But in the hundreds of hours I've put them up against each other in head to head "real" hunts, there have only been two coins that I was able to locate with my E-TRAC that couldn't be confirmed with the X-TERRA. I honestly believe it there were a 3 kHz DD X-TERRA coil, the same diameter as the E-TRAC Pro coil, it would be a very close match! JMHO HH Randy

I have been regulary taking my 705 along since I got an Etrac and comparing the two side by side on real targets. I have a hard time slowing down with the Etrac and I have missed targets that the xterra hasn't, because of my sweep speed I am thinking.

Great to hear!

So we just have to wait for a 11" DD at 3 kHz then:clapping:
Have been out with my replaced 10,5 DD 7.5,and it is a fine coil, feels like it goes deeper in the fall/winter becuse of the wet ground and dirt.Am i right??

:poke: would they laugh at the prospect of the Xterra doing as well as the Etrac on the Etrac forum?
