 When I use the pin point mode it may come on with the first push of the button or the 3rd Sometimes it pin points for ten foot in all directions on a coin.don't know whats ?

Mine has always been like that. I am sure there is a reason for it, but I usually push it several times to get it to pinpoint the way I want. Sometimes it is real soft, and sometimes it will blare all over the place.

Thanks guys , I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. I have figured out the best tool you can have is a good pin pointer.

What mode are you hunting in? Try turning your sensitivity down and detuning over these seemingly big targets. You may be picking up big patches of mineralization. The 250 will detect deeper than it can pinpoint on occasion.

TRADES MY ACE 250 AT THE PAWN SHOP

Try raising the coil 3-4 inches off the ground when pinpointing. You might be getting an overload from the ground mineralization. Also try turning down the sensitivity some as Uncle Willy suggested.
