Is the battery in HF coils waterproof?

Just wondering if the battery in the new HF coils is waterproof since they are no longer sealed inside the coil? Was thinking about using the underwater water kit, but wanted to make sure the HF battery is waterproof before doing so.

The XP website for the HF coils says the HF coils (which would include the battery) are waterproof down to 20 feet. I have had my 9" HF coil submerged several times but not the entire lower shaft. The battery has gotten wet however. No problems so far.

That's what I thought since it did say coil was waterproof to 20 ft, so assume that includes the battery. Better safe than sorry! Thanks
