Is the coil coverd under the 5 yr warranty?

Was just wondering if the coil is also cover under the warranty for 5 yrs? Thanks

From the XP website:
The complete XP DEUS metal detector is covered by a five year parts and labor warranty for detectors purchased on or after January 1, 2013. Units purchased prior to this date are covered by a 2 Year Parts and Labor Warranty.

Yes, the coil is covered . . . . . . the battery in all three components is not however - they are covered under a 2 year warranty (along with the charger and connections)

Can you tell us how much the battery replacement costs, and what batteries have to be replaced by the service center?

All 3 batteries can be user replaced but the coil will likely not be waterproof if you do it rather than the service center so sending that in is recommended.. Cost for the coil installation plus the battery is about $50 . . . . half that for the other two batteries for you do install them.

To be honest, even though the warranty is only two years, many of the UK hunters that got the Deus in 2009 when they came out have yet to replace any of the batteries . . . the beauty of Li-Ion batteries
