Is the MK a water proof Impact?

1 - I am curious, is the MK based on the Impact?
2 - does it have the same sounds as the Impact?
 
Look at the manuals and see for yourself. Basically yes they are the same with less hunting modes that are found on the Impact.
If you have owned an Impact, no brainer to operate. Just have to get used to the button placement.
 
Yes, I am new to Nokta and am loving the Impact since late February.

So what I am concerned about are the sounds the same?

Pretty Much the same. The Impact is a great machine, only get the Kruzer if you don't already have the Impact and need waterproofing, less hunting modes and lighter weight.
Or have an excuse that you need to buy a Kruzer as a back-up....LOL The Multi-Kruzer and the Impact share the same updating software program that downloads and installs updates for either unit.
