Is the Safari a silver hound like the Etrac?

Is the Safari a silver hound like the Etrac? I was curious as it appears to share some of the same features, thanks.

I don't know the Etrac, but my Safari is definitely a silver hound. I regularly pull silver where other experienced detectorists have already swept. In one case, the guy accused me of planting/palming a silver ring cause he didn't believe he would have missed it. (fairly fat 925 ring at <2")

Yeah, you don't miss silver with a Safari. Wish it was this good on gold, but that's probably My Bad and not the machine's!

Yuup, the Safari screams when it gets over silver. 38 is my favorite #!!

No difference between Etrac and Safari,Etrac has a few more useful features. As far as depth and recovery of any target the same.I have owned both use the Safari as go to detector.

Thank you for all of your input, sounds like a good choice.

Ok how did you get a Silver hound and I got a penny hound??? :punch: I'm getting use to the Safari but I must not be choosing the right spots to hunt since my Safari is more of a Penny hound rather then Silver but I put blame on myself and not the machine.
